Home Theater...
This is a spot for my future Home Theater that I am in the process of saving and constructing, hence the double meaning of the..."Under Constructions" you will see on this page. There will be more to follow and as pieces get added to the system...they will get added here... I've already added a bunch of 'links' to this page in the left hand column to help you access all the hardware out there, and a link to THE best and friendliest Home Theater Forum on the web, Home Theater Talk, check those out and check back soon...you never know what might be new!

Notice: the Glossary of Audio/Video Terms is back up and running again!!

What are those speakers for??
Front Speakers (left/right): These are your two main speakers in the front that provide the main musical soundtrack, off screen dialogue, and transition sound effects (When the Imperial Star Destroyer fly's onto the screen chasing Princess Lea's ship).
Center Channel Speaker: This is the long thin speaker (most have it resting on top of their TV) that provides on-screen dialogue (the talking...duh!?), the center image on the musical soundtrack, and transition sounds.
Surround Sound Speakers (left/right): These are those ones behind you (yes, behind you) that provide sound effects and ambience.
Subwoofer(s): Is the speaker or speakers (some use more than one) that provides the dynamic low bass information (Da Boom Boom).
